Baldwin is a vibrant hub of cultural activities, with local businesses playing a key role in hosting a variety of events year-round. Baldwin Perk, The Phoenix Bar & Grill, Striker’s Lanes & Lounge, ReStyle & Co, Jeonsa, and North Meets South are just a few of the establishments that offer events such as crafts, painting sessions, vendor events, and music on the patio. These activities are regularly updated on their websites or social media pages and are often shared via the Chamber of Commerce page as well.

ReStyle & Co hosts three Midwest Markets annually, where over 70 vendors from across Wisconsin and Minnesota come to sell their items, accompanied by local musicians, food trucks, and more. This event also encourages local non-profits to participate, providing a platform for fundraising and supporting community groups.

Baldwin’s community spirit shines through its Farmers Market, held every Saturday from June to October at Bailey Park on Main Street. The market, which runs from 9am to noon, features local farmers, home-based bakers, and crafters. Additionally, Winter Markets are held once a month at the Village Community Office, extending the opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy local produce and crafts year-round.

Windmill Days is a major community celebration in Baldwin, embracing the town’s Dutch heritage. Organized by the Baldwin Royalty and Windmill Days Committee, the event is held on the second full weekend of June and includes festivities from Wednesday through Sunday. Highlights of Windmill Days include community dinners, dessert auctions, carnival rides, multiple bands, a car show, a 5k run, a parade, a vendor market, a laser light show, beer gardens, and food vendors. The Baldwin Royalty proudly represents “The Biggest Little Town in Wisconsin” with their reconstructed float featuring a windmill, traveling to over 40 communities in western Wisconsin and Minnesota each year for parades. This festival continues to grow each year, offering numerous family-friendly activities that ensure everyone can join in the fun.

Baldwin offers a variety of beautiful parks and outdoor spaces that cater to all ages and interests. Residents and visitors can enjoy the serene settings of Bailey Park, Windmill Park, Mill Pond Park, Creamery Park, Dutch Heritage Park, and Wintergreen Park. The Baldwin Woodville School District features a public swimming pool available year-round and a school forest, providing additional recreational opportunities.

A landmark of the town, the Windmill, located at Windmill Park on HWY 63, is a stunning structure built by the Baldwin Woodville Chamber of Commerce and shared with the Village of Baldwin as a community symbol. On October 31st, Trick or Treat Main Street allows kids to visit local businesses for treats and fun activities. The Annual Horse Parade on the first Saturday in December is a cherished tradition where horses and wagons dressed for the season parade up Main Street. Mr. and Mrs. Claus make an appearance for photos with children, and storefronts are decorated and lit up, celebrating the holiday spirit.
